In this study, the body wash products used raw soap from the saponification of coconut oil and lye as the main detergent. The finished product has been fully evaluated for physical and chemical properties, and cosmetic standards in Vietnam. The results show that the dry matter content in the product is nearly 30%, the pH value is about pH8, the foaming level and the foaming time are quite long, helping to bring a feeling of comfort, smoothness and smooth skin after using the product. Through evaluation in storage conditions such as heat preservation, heat shock, centrifugation for 1.5 months at 45 qC, the parameters before and after did not change significantly. The cleaning ability of the product is also reflected in its ability to remove lipstick stains on the skin compared to water and other products on the market. The results show a good skin cleansing effect and the skin moisture is 22.5%. The antibacterial ability of the body wash resulted in strong resistance to 4 strains of bacteria E.coli, S.aereus, S.typhimurium, P. aeruginosa. In addition, skin sensitization and irritation testing in rats did not result in skin irritation or sensitization. Finally, the evaluation criteria according to Vietnamese standards all meet the aesthetics and requirements of TCVN 6972: 2001. Therefore, body wash products from coconut oil are evaluated as safe and effective for consumers. .
