Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dalam  bentuk edukasi dengan pemberian penyuluhan kepada Kepala Keluarga. Pengabdian masyarakat  ini dilaksanakan di  Kelurahan Pondok Batu Kecamatan Sarudik Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah dengan sasaran Kepala Keluarga yang berjumlah 40 orang. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah meningkatkakan pengetahuan dan sikap kepala keluarga bencana banjir, memperkenalkan Mitigasi bencana untuk menciptakan sikap yang baik dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Dari hasil kegiatan diperoleh pengetahuan Kepala Keluarga  sebelum diberikan edukasi berada pada kategori baik sebanyak 15 orang dan setelah diberikan edukasi pengetahuan kepala keluarga dalam kategori baik sebanyak 25 orang. Sebelum diberikan edukasi sikap kepala keluarga berada pada kategori baik sebanyak 15 orang dan setelah diberikan edukasi sebanyak 25 orang. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berlangsung sangat antusias, kepala keluarga berperan aktif mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan berkaitan dengan mitigasi bencana.  Edukasi  mitigasi bencana  banjir adalah salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Diharapkan pihak Puskesmas dan Kelurahan berperan aktif memberikan edukasi edukasi terkait mitigasi bencana. Kata Kunci: Mitigasi Bencana, Pengetahuan, Sikap  ABSTRACT Community service is carried out in the form of education by providing counseling to the Head of the Family. This community service was carried out in Pondok Batu Village, Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency with a target of 40 Heads of Families. The aim of Community Service is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of heads of families regarding flood disasters, introduce disaster mitigation to create a good attitude in dealing with flood disasters. From the results of the activity, it was found that the knowledge of the Head of the Family before being given education was in the good category as many as 15 people and after being given the education the knowledge of the head of the family was in the good category as many as 25 people. Before being given the education, the attitude of the head of the family was in the good category as many as 15 people and after being given the education as many as 25 people. Community Service activities took place very enthusiastically, the head of the family played an active role in asking questions related to disaster mitigation. Flood disaster mitigation education is one way to increase people's knowledge and attitudes in dealing with flood disasters.
