Abstract

In recent years, we have seen subtle attempts to deconstruct reputation into measurable, and therefore manageable, figures. Some of these have been gathered together in this book. Objective figures are an important prerequisite to systematically planning and using reputation as a profitable resource. It is also an important prerequisite for communicating with top management, who are used to making decisions primarily on the basis of numerical parameters. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
