Abstract

Since the distinguishing characteristics- having the most widely affected area, involving the most geological units, and having the richest and best preserved geological relics landscape, especially the new earthquake disaster relics landscape and lake landscape system-Longmenshan Fault Zone (LFZ) becomes an ideal area for research into earthquake relics and tourism landscapes. Understanding the opportunities for earthquake tourism within any environment involves recognizing the carrying capacity of the development areas, and how to develop and resolve the contradiction between development and preservation reasonably. Therefore in this article, a management tool and an earthquake tourism system are proposed considering the actual situation in the LFZ.
