Inherent complementary nature of double-stranded DNA molecules has led to the DNA computing model which provides massive parallelism. In order to facilitate study of this model without test-tubes and their associated laboratory errors, this paper proposes a scheme for software emulation of a well-known test tube algorithm, the first NP-complete problem SAT. Multi-threading is employed to obtain the effect of simultaneous test-tube reactions. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.
