Abstract

Reward and punishment in learning must be given. Reward and punishment is part of the reinforcement of educators to increase students' learning motivation. Reward is a positive reinforcement, where the teacher gives praise or appreciation to students when successfully completing a given task well. Meanwhile, punishment is a negative reinforcement, where the teacher gives punishment or sanctions to students when they break the rules while studying in class. Learning in class will be more fun, also students' motivation can be increased if the reward and punishment given are positive actions.
