Abstract

China and Africa establish and develop the relationship under two conditions. One is that China has established a stable and independent regime and ended a century-long war turmoil after it got rid of Western political domination and economic slavery. The other one is that the related African countries gained state sovereignty to establish an independent regime from Western colonial rule. Under the oppression or threat of political survival of the West, China and Africa continue looking for common interests in a complex international environment, and eventually form a strong international political dependency mutually. Energy is an important part in China’s cooperation with Africa and is also one of the most important thing of the International Society. This article explains China’s energy diplomacy with Africa from the international political perspective.
