Evidence of increasing antibiotics and their bio-monitoring in different resources has received worldwide attention. This study provides a better understanding of antibiotics, antimicrobial resistance, and antibiotic resistance genes. The antibiotics used in intensive amounts results in their constant discharge into the receiving environment and consequent extensive propagation of antibiotic resistance genes, therefore causing potential threats for public and ecosystem health.
