Abstract

The article provide information about the success of Intelligent Information Services (IIS), a software consulting firm based in Durham, North Carolina. It is inferred that the good will which the owners, Shail and Sucheta Jain, built with their clients and employees is the key factor of their survival during the dot-com bust of 2001. They started by helping customers in changing their computer software systems to prepare for Y2K.
