Abstract

The treatment of tumors involving the kidneys, genitourinary and reproductive organs may involve aggressive surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. The risks of late effects secondary to the treatment received may be life-threatening or severely affect quality of life, including fertility. This chapter will review common malignant tumors affecting these organs, treatment modalities used, the possible late effects, recommended surveillance and fertility preservation options.
