Abstract

There is continues development in the field of laboratories specially microscopes, since its very important part of the lab. In this paper, digital microscope used to find a type of parasite, but the recognition is left to the computer by providing an interface between the microscope, digital camera and computer. We design a software to recognized undefined parasite (taenia egg) and identifies this shape as taenia or not and calculate the error percentage. It is possible to save a lot of time and only operator needed to run this program. In this paper, we explain the procedures and number of tests done for various shape of the parasite in different forms. © 2008 Springer-Verlag.
