Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the design, validation and verification of compliance with the graduation profile in Teaching and Psychology programs at three Chilean universities with different levels of selectivity. It was concluded that the sample careers define their graduation profiles according to the demands of the labor market and graduates' employability. The careers of the highly selective university have systematic mechanisms to validate and ensure compliance with the graduation profile. In the case of the careers of the universities with medium and low selectivity, these mechanisms are weak.
