Abstract

This research is an opportunity to highlight the influence of finishing products on sewing-thread’s behavior. After sewing, the needle thread was removed then tensile properties (force and elongation at break) are determined. The results show a significant loss in mechanical properties values depending on finishing treatment and especially on products’ concentration used. On the other hand, thread’s diameter changes after sewing of woven fabrics finished with different concentration of various products.
