Pemilihan Lokasi Pembangunan Bandar Antariksa di Kabupaten Biak Numfor dan Kabupaten Pulau Morotai Ditinjau dari Kelayakan Politis

Abstract

Results of the first studies have been done on several alternative locations in the territorial sovereignty of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia for the spaceport development, that the Biak Numfor District and Morotai Island District is the best location to be a site for spaceport development. However, the political feasibility study on these two locations has not been done. This paper examines two alternative location of the spaceport development in terms of political feasibility. The goal is to choose the best one to be used as a location of spaceport development. The method used is descriptive qualitative and analyzed by descriptive comparison of the two alternatives that location in terms of political feasibility. The data used in the study are secondary data obtained through library research using a variety of references, both print and electronic media. The analysis showed that in terms of political feasibility that the location in Morotai Island District of North Maluku more feasible than in Biak Numfor District of Papua for the spaceport development.
