Abstract

This chapter deals with the problem of observer-based control design for continuous-time systems with constraints on the control. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of such controllers are obtained. Further, these results are extended to the case of singular systems. The synthesis, in this case, is presented using the solution of equation XA+ XBXE= HXE.
