Abstract

Hand arm vibration syndrome has become one of the most prevalent diseases in the construction industry. This paper provides a bibliometric review of research topics on HAVs in construction workers. A bibliometric review was conducted to compile relevant materials from the Scopus database. A total of 240 related papers were examined. VOSviewer was used to develop a co-occurrence network based on the bibliographic data obtained. Emerging trends were prevalence of HAVS, disability in workers diagnosed with HAVS, HAVS related diseases, machine vibration exposure and disease control measures for HAVS.
