Abstract

This paper uses the scale test to count the psychological characteristics of graduate students. Self-reporting Inventory (SCL-90) was used as a test tool for network testing and 944 valid questionnaires were received. Statistics showed that 9.96% of graduate students have any of a division factor score equal to or more than 2.5. A Comparative analysis, in particular, found that for the graduate students with a factor score of 2.5 or more, and the forcing factor scored the most. Based on the results of the above data, this paper has a deep analysis on the psychological health status of graduate students and the current shortage of postgraduate mental health education. It proposes to establish strengths evaluation system, set psychological courses for graduate students, play a guiding role for mentors in education and create a positive campus atmosphere according to the strengths theory, so as to achieve the goals of elite education.
