Abstract

interaction of two adjacent synthetic jet actuators is simulated. The computational results compare well with the experiment of Smith and Glezer[1]; the computed vortex structures in the flow-field are in general agreement with the experimental data. The influence of relative phase Deltaphi between the two synthetic jets on the vectoring of the merged jet is studied.
