Abstract

In this case report we describe the case of a patient with multiple bone metastases of NSCLC, adenocarcinoma with exon 21 pointmutation of EGFR, treated with gefitinib. After only 3 months, FDG-PET/CT scan showed a complete response of bone metastases and right hylar adenopathy. Implications for need of early use of FDG-PET/CT scan after gefitinib treatment are discussed. (copyright) The authors.
