Abstract

This study had as main purpose present Sándor Ferenczi's (1873-1933) comprehension about the mind-body interface, emphasizing two fundamental concepts proposed by the author: pathoneuroses and organ neuroses. Enhance the fact that the author, based on Freud, uses the theoretical model of hysteria to mentioning pathoneuroses, but aligns its position to the formulations about actual neurosis to describe the organ neuroses. Thus, it's maintained that Ferenczi's contributions gave some great subsidies for the further progress in the field of Psychoanalytic Psychosomatic, although this fact is not properly often recognized.
