To fully embrace the challenge of developing more robust software, potential defects must be considered at the earliest stages of software development. Studies have shown that this reduces the time, cost and effort required to integrate corrective features into software during development. In this paper we describe a technique for uncovering potential software vulnerabilities through an analysis of software requirements and describe its use using small, motivating examples.
