Abstract

Protecting your PC against malware is essential. Often, people ask me what the best antivirus software is. It is not a simple case of buying a malware protection software suite from the retail store. Having only one barrier between you and the hacker, such as a firewall or anti-malware application, could leave you vulnerable to attack. If a software exploit in one of your installed applications is discovered before the vendor can fix the issue and generate a patch, your system could easily be hacked.
