We propose a concept of recognition as the theoretical basis of a proposed institutional transformation, in an intercultural, democratic and pluralist perspective, condition of possibility for the effective validity of indigenous peoples' rights. We develop the three dimensions of recognition formulated by Honneth: love, law and solidarity. We put this dimensions into dialogue with other theoretical perspectives to propose a fourth dimension of recognition of "cultural identity", located in the middle of the current "Struggle for Recognition" and by cultural, political and epistemological liberation of the Latin America indigenous peoples.
