Abstract

The main objective of this article is to offer a conceptual and methodological tool to analyze media representation of patriarchal violence in digital journals. This tool is the feminist posthumanist concept of “waste”, by which an object with has become of no use by the origin of its production is reconfigured to get back into the neoliberal circuit. Taken into account present society of information and knowledge acceleration, the authors of this article aim at reconfiguring the notion of gender as a relational element to offer ethics and aesthetic optics of the female bodies materialization in these situations.
