A novel selective, simple, sensitive, and cost effective kinetic spectrophotometric initial rate method for the determination of suxamethonium chloride has been developed. It is based on the indicator reaction of catalytic 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine oxidation. The analytical performance of the method was validated statistically with respect to limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ), accuracy, precision, and linearity.
