Abstract

The toxicology of a human environment is based on the assumption that toxicity of pollutants is directly proportional to their concentration (in wastewater, in aerosphere, and in soil). The calculation method of probability of effect (risk) of toxic pollutants action on the population health is described. The algorithm of risk assessment of pollution impact on a population health is considered. The risk factor (coefficient of a ratio of risk increase) is a function of concentration of toxic substances in an environment: atmosphere, wastewater, soil. © 2007 Springer.
