Abstract

In order to reveal the incentive effect of intellectual property (IPR) strategy during the process of independent technological innovation, the structure equation modeling is used in this paper. By element analysis, research hypothesis, factor decomposition, model construction and model checking, the SEM can effectively reveal the correlation between IPR strategy and independent technological innovation in Chinese Enterprises. For illustration, the questionnaire provided total 1000 copies, 355 questionnaires were recycled, and the returns ratio was 35.5%, which satisfied the requirement that the questionnaire returns-ratio was not lower than 20% in the data investigation. The empirical results show that the model fitting effect is better. The empirical research have conducted the microscopic analysis of the relative paths of IPR strategy for Chinese enterprises and independent technological innovation ability, which has provided the feasible instruction direction for IPRS deep implementation based on the cultivation goal of independent technological innovation ability. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
