Abstract

Human activity analysis and recognition tasks can be considered as classification problems in most of the cases. This chapter represents the overview of classification problems explaining their different types with examples. Binary classification, multilabel classification, multi-class classification, and hierarchical classification tasks are presented in this chapter. At the end, we have given a brief summary about the bias-variance trade-off problem.
