Abstract

Injections at the hand region are relatively common in musculoskeletal practice. Some of the more commonly performed injections are listed in Table 9.1, along with relevant references from the medical literature. These hand region injections encompass a spectrum of intra-articular joint injections for osteoarthritis and other arthritic conditions, tendon sheath injections, nerve blocks, etc. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
