Abstract

Two new species of Triodia R.Br, are described from the east Kimberley region of Western Australia; Triodia barbata R.L.Barrett & M.D.Barrett and T. cremnophila R.L.Barrett & M.D.Barrett. Both species are restricted to a small area in the Ragged Range, to the south west of Lake Argyle where they are associated with cliff lines and fire-excluding rock outcrops. Amendments to the Flora of Australia key are provided to allow identification of these new species. A note is provided on the location of isotype specimens of Triodia fissura. © 2011 Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust.
