Abstract

Much has been written about challenges faced by cities of the future. Many of the problems that haven’t been solved yet generate further problems. Traffic jams are one of them. They brings many consequences and the biggest one is increasing traffic accident number and problems with fast arrival at the place of emergency services. The goal of this paper is describe and build wireframe for module which will reduce as much as possible the time needed to get the emergency services to the place of the accidents. The main assumption will be blocking intersections located on the route of emergency services. Blocking intersections to facilitate access to the ambulance slows traffic in the city, however, it will help to reduce the number of deaths accident victims. Moreover knowing that cars stop or leave the road to facilitate the passage of privileged vehicles traffic is disturbed anyway so it would be worth taking control over this process.
