Kesalahan Bentuk dan Pilihan Kata dalam Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia di Ruang Publik di Provinsi Lampung

Abstract

This paper discusses research on form errors and choice of words in the use of Indones ian in public spaces in the area of Lampung Province. The purpose of this study is to find and describe the types of errors in form and choice of words in Indonesian in public spaces. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the errors in the form of words in the form of mistakes in words that are prefix affixes that are written separately from the words that follow it and the initial letters of the word should be cured when the prefix starts, but not written; miscible words in the form of combined words that should be written separately, but written concurrently; and the error of the bound form in the form of bound which is written separately from the words that follow it. Meanwhile, the choice of words found in the form of an incorrect choice of words, ie words that are not in accordance with their meaning; non-standard choice of words; and waste of words, i.e. use of two or more words that contain the same meaning.
