Abstract

A simple, efficient and eco-friendly method for the synthesis of bis(acylhydrazones) from hexanediohydrazide and aldehydes under microwave irradiation without the use of solvent and catalyst is reported. The technique of microwave irradiation under solvent-free condition proved to be quite a valuable method in organic synthesis.
