Abstract

Coriolan, an extracellular polysaccharide of Coriolus versicolor is a glucan, −35.0°, slightly soluble in water and has an antitumor activity. Results of periodate oxidation and methylation studies showed that the glucan has a highly branched structure possessing (1-3)- and (1-6)-linkages. © 1974, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
