Abstract

The theatrical production partnership of entrepreneur A. L. Erlanger (1859-1930) and attorney Marcus Klaw (1858-1936) began as a theatrical booking agency in 1886 before expanding into producing plays and musicals. They became part of the Theatrical Syndicate in 1896.
