Abstract

Inoculation with spores of Glomus mosseae and G. etunicatum greatly increased the dry matter and seed yield of soyabean in an irradiated Kyushu soil high in total phosphate but low in available phosphate, both with and without added P fertilizer. In unsterilized soil the effect of inoculation was much clearer when P fertilizer had been applied.
