HERRAMIENTAS VIRTUALES EN EL ENVEJECIMIENTO ACTIVO

Abstract.VIRTUAL TOOLS IN ACTIVE AGINGVirtual tools have burst onto every field. Existing statistical data show a much lower use of these tools by the elderly in relation to other groups. The objective of this study is to determine the existence of web 2.0 tools for seniors, and more broadly, to identify existing resources on the net for work on emotional and psychosocial competences (coping, socio-communicative competence and self-efficacy) or those related to active aging at any age group. We also intend to explore some of the possible causes of the digital divide through a descriptive analysis of these different tools available on the net regarding the properties of accessibility, usability and function. To do this, we have a corpus of 247 links. The main results of the analyzes are shown in this study. Si bien, los datosestadísticos existentes muestran un uso muy inferior de estas herramientas por parte de las personas mayores en relación a otros colectivos. Lo que se pretende con este estudio es determinar la existencia de herramientas de la web 2.0 orientadas al trabajo con personas mayores, y más ampliamente, identificar los recursos existentes en la red para el trabajo sobre competencias emocionales y psicosociales (coping, competencias socio-comunicativas y autoeficacia) o aquellas otras relacionadas con el envejecimiento activo en cualquier grupo de edad. Asimismo, se pretende explorar algunas de las posibles causas de la brecha digital existente mediante un análisis descriptivo de estas diversas herramientas disponibles en la red en torno a las propiedades de accesibilidad, usabilidad y función. Para ello, contamos con un corpus de 247 links. Los principales resultados de los  análisis realizados hasta el momento se muestran en este estudio.
