Abstract

Many cases of primary angle closure glaucoma remain undetected or misdiagnosed obviating appropriate and optimal treatment. The value of routine gonioscopy in all patients to screen for occludable angles should not be understated. Early recognition and subsequent management of primary angle closure is almost always effectively curative. © 2010 Springer-Verlag New York.
