Abstract

A Web based model for analyzing compliance of mobile content is proposed. It is said that a mobile content is compliant if the content can be executed properly in a mobile environment. The model was designed using the Factory Method pattern and the Facade pattern. The collaborations of classes in the model were described using a sequence diagram of UML. As a case study, the mobile compliance analysis system for WML and HDML contents has been built. The model is flexible so that you can easily add new modules or remove some modules to analyze certain mobile content. Although the proposed model is based on the JSP and Java beans, it can be expanded to support any other programming technique. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
