Abstract

The antimicrobial composition based on the substance of thiosulfonate structure (ETS) and surfactants of microbial origin (biosurfactants) in the form of stable suspensions and ointments were developed and investigated for their effectiveness. The application of biosurfactants in the preparation enhances the antifungal and antibacterial activity of ETS and reduces its active concentration. The economic calculations have shown that the developed antimicrobial composition has a low cost and is competitive compared with antifungal agents present in the pharmaceutical market. © Lubenets V., Karpenko O., PonomarenkoM., Zahoriy G., Krychkovska A., Novikov V., 2013.
