The design of an management software for high value medical consumables

Abstract

In this paper, an software, which is written in C# program language based on ORACLE and NET Frame Work, for high value medical consumables management is introduced. Using client-server model as system structural, data structure and the data flow are defined according to hospital information systems (HIS) database. In the software, indexed by patient ID number, the patient information and the high value medical consumable they used in the treatment process is made up as a whole in the process of the warehousing operation. Then, a two-dimension code including information of patient and material is built, which can be added in medical record automatic. In the end, by using the software, management consciousness and working efficiency is raised. © Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 2014.
