Abstract

The c-Myc transcription factor has been shown to be central for colorectal carcinogenesis. In this issue of Molecular Cell, Kress and colleagues (Kress et al., 2011) identify an exciting new pathway that downregulates c-Myc translation which is lost in aggressive colorectal cancer. © 2011 Elsevier Inc.
