Abstract

Design patterns are architectural artifacts that are the results of solutions that have been applied successfully and repeatedly to a set of problems. In computer science design patterns play a crucial role in maximizing code reuse and architectural best practices. The overdrive suppression design pattern outlined in this paper targets mainly the computing, although it can be applied to any field where simple robustness through managed redundancy is paramount.
