Abstract

As part of the work in developing a robotic toolkit to help children with ASD develop their social and communication skills, we have adapted a method for creating vignettes that has been fruitful in other studies. We present a brief background of earlier work that has been done with robots and children with ASD, the idea behind our toolkit, and how we have involved the different stakeholders so far. We then present our updated method for creating vignettes and how we plan to run our workshops. We close with discussing some current challenges and next steps.
