Abstract

With the social progress and development of science and technology, mathematics is used more and more widely, which has penetrated into the various disciplines. Mathematics education has been paid attention much more in various fields. Therefore, improving the quality of teaching mathematics education becomes very important. In this paper, firstly, the problems for the convergence of middle school mathematics and college mathematics are analyzed, and then summarizing the differences between middle school mathematics and college mathematics in teaching methods, learning methods and teaching contents. In order to solve these problems and differences, the measures and proposals are proposed in this paper to link up middle school mathematics and college mathematics better. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
