Pro Oracle Database 11g Administration

Abstract

Author Darl Kuhn has produced a useful text that is informative in the application of database principals. The scope of the text is quite broad. Topics covered include installation of the database software, creating databases and environment configuration. While I have not completed this book or the course for which it is assingned, I find the covered topics easilly accessible through the book's index. The index itself is a valuable tool. The text examples and the rationale behind them are understandable without being over complex.
