In a climate where we are increasingly looking to technology to support our learning processes, it important to make sure that technological advancement isn't chosen over maximum inclusion. The two have to go hand in hand. This paper presents the I-Maestro project and demonstrates how it attempts to bridge the gap between music pedagogy and technology while keeping the learning experiences accessible for the visually impaired. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
