Abstract

Under the background of globalization, Chinese enterprises stand on more intense competition platform. To find the better development, Chinese enterprises begin to invest cross-border. Although now many enterprises' intentions to "going abroad" are strong, many enterprises are at a loss because of the lack of understanding of the local environment. Multiple factors like the exchange rate risk, political risk, security risk restrict our enterprises' pace to "going abroad ". If Chinese enterprises want the success in multinational investment, we should comprehensively analyze the local environment, keep away from the larger investment risk areas, and utilize the right breakthrough mode of multinational investment risk flexibly. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH Berlin Heidelberg.
