Caracterización anatómica y variabilidad de los componentes de la madera de Calycophyllum spruceanum (Benth). Hook.

Abstract

RESUMEN En el presente estudio se evaluó las características anatómicas, variación radial y longitudinal de los constituyentes anatómicos de Calycophyllum spruceanun (Benth). Hook., de una plantación procedente de la Amazonía peruana. Se utilizaron seis árboles, de ellos se colectaron 3 discos de cada árbol (base, DAP, ápice); de cada uno se consideró tres posiciones en dirección medula-corteza y tres posiciones en dirección base-ápice. Se describieron las características anatómicas de la fibra y elementos de vasos y radios. Se encontró que la longitud de fibra, espesor de pared, diámetro tangencial de poros y longitud de vasos aumentó de manera significativa hacia la corteza; mientras que la frecuencia de poros disminuyó. En sentido longitudinal, la longitud de fibras y longitud de vasos disminuyó de manera significativa hacia el ápice; la frecuencia de poros aumentó hacia él; la pared de fibras y diámetro tangencial de poros no evidenciaron cambios significativos de la base hacia el ápice. Hook. wood ABSTRACT In the present study the anatomical characteristics, radial and longitudinal variation of the anatomical constituents of Calycophyllum spruceanun (Benth) Hook., Of a plantation from the Peruvian Amazon were evaluated. Six trees were used, 3 discs of each tree (base, DAP, apex) were collected; from each one, three positions in the medulla-cortex direction and three positions in the base-apex direction were considered. The anatomical characteristics of the fiber and vessel elements and spokes were described. It was found that fiber length, wall thickness, tangential pore diameter and vessel length increased significantly towards the cortex; while the frequency of pores decreased. In the longitudinal direction, the fiber length and vessel length decreased significantly towards the apex; the frequency of pores increased towards him; The fiber wall and tangential pore diameter showed no significant changes from the base to the apex.
