Abstract

In response to the 2008 position statement of the Collaborative Working Group of the British Society of Echocardiography and the Intensive Care Society, we describe a recently launched Fellowship in Critical Care Echocardiography at the John Radcliffe Hospitals Oxford. We discuss the educational principles underlying the design and ongoing evaluation of the curriculum. © The Intensive Care Society 2010.
